It is inevitable that one is different than the other.

It seems inevitable that people are drawn to another who is different from them. A friend of mine once said it was not to complete herself but to complement herself. The differences that attract one to another then can become the differences that polarize one from the other. Is someone willing to compromise or let an issue go or does one insist on confrontation over conciliation and principle over the needs of the other.
